10 ways to go green for the Zombie Apocalypse

You’re dead so it doesn’t matter,
Instead we’ll use this solar power
to make a lawn defense at any hour
~”Plants vs. Zombies,” Laura Shigihara

Face it, with all the GMOs running around these days, it won’t be long before the Zombie Apocalypse is upon us. And when that happens, money won’t be worth anything, so go ahead and spend it all on nifty green gear now. Save your ass and the Earth!

1. A Prius. Once the infrastructure collapses and gas nigh impossible to get, you’ll be happy you bought one.
2. A solar powered air conditioner. I live in Texas, for dog’s sake.
3. A hemp “bug out bag.” In case your house or apartment suddenly becomes not the place to be.
4. An eco-friendly baseball bat. For close-range combat.
5. Solar powered or hand-crank radio. This particular model will play your iPod, too! Make sure to tune into the solar powered radio stations.
6. Hiking boots made from hemp and recycled materials. After the Prius finally runs out of gas you’re going to do a lot of walking.
7. Lead-free shot. The shotgun is the traditional anti-zombie weapon; make sure you pick up the spent shells afterward and recycle them.
8. Reusable water bottles. You can use these before, during, and after the apocalypse.
9. A green first-aid kit. Make sure to pack some essential oils for aromatherapy.
10. Don’t forget your organic bamboo yoga pants! A must!

  1. Don’t forget, when the apocalypse comes around you’ll need food too. Why not stock up on McDonalds? It never goes bad and they’re refusing to compost it even! Perfect food to keep in storage for when you need it.

  2. Starting here, eventually found my way to http://www.stinkymeat.net/

    It seems on topic.
